Jackson Hole, Wyoming was absolutely stunning! Even though the weather was crummy over memorial day weekend, it still managed to be one of the prettiest places! So green and lush with culture and character everywhere you turn. It's definitely a vacation I recommend to families like us, couples, or even just a big group of friends! I honestly didn't think wyoming would be anything too exciting but by the time we arrived I just couldn't get enough of it and I only wish we could have stayed a few more days!
Jackson Hole has the coolest rapids with the most colorful little treasures creeping all over, like this gorgeous patch of moss! Is it just me who gets excited over gorgeous moss? Maybe. But for all you normal people, the rapids are something you have to check out!
My boys are honestly heart melters. Watching them together is like watching a scene from a movie. They are constantly laughing, running, tickling, and teasing each other. They have there own little language and its magical to watch.
As we were driving to Yellowstone National Park we came upon this incredible field with buffalo ALL over. So Matthew, knowing me so well, pulled over and let us play! Traveling with a little toddler was actually amazing, and I think it was so great because we made sure to stop and stretch our legs every hour or so. It made all the difference. Plus I love that we got to experience the area instead of just driving through it.
When we got to yellowstone, its very common to see a million cars pulled over in a random spot because someone has spotted an animal of some sort. We thought it might be a moose, so I hoped right out of the car with my camera in hand and very lady like (yeah right.), I ran up this massive hill to snap a photo of it. Matt was right behind me, and when we got up there, it was just an elk. Which is still cool, but I've seen quite a few elk in my day (maybe like two haha) and I was really hoping to see a big moose! Sadly they were no where to be found all day, but Matt said "what the hell, why not get a photo with it seeing as we jogged up here". haha
This waterfall. Absolutely breath taking. Probably the coolest spot we stopped at in Yellowstone! Matt let Dodger use his precious hunting binoculars to look at the waterfall, and after that those bonocs were basically glued to dodgers face the rest of the day! He was totally in love with them and would "ooooo"
"aaawww"
"eeeee"
every time he looked through them haha I just love this kid.
This was a random look out point off the highway that we decided to stop at and because it was so pretty we took a picture and of course I get really sexy when Im in a photo alone, so this is what my body and face naturally do in this type of situation. I know, Im irresistible.
Buffalo were EVERYWHERE! We even had to stop a couple of times for around 5-10 minutes each time while random buffalo decided to walk in the road. It was really cool.
I can't help it...my face honestly just goes into wacky mode 99% of the time.
Dodger looking incredibly handsome as usual!
He just oozes cuteness!
Wow, that is absolutely gorgeous and looks like y'all had a blast!
