SUNDAY MORNING

This morning was filled with sunshine and laughs. 

My two favorite things.

 Every day I take a big blanket outside and Dodge and I lay out in the warm sunshine. He always plays in the rocks when we are out there and of course attempts to eat a few. It's the perfect activity for a tired momma who wants to be lazy and lay there while the outside occupies your baby, and it's also the perfect way to spend an hour or two of intimate time with your little one. It is one of my favorite things to do with him!

I decided to do a daily layout session because I have discovered that Dodger is completely addicted to his favorite movies, commercials, and basically all T.V.! So, I have made it a goal to have the T.V. off all day until he goes to bed so we can share quality time together instead of him ignoring me for Shrek or the Gecko from the Geico commercials! We haven't been perfect at reaching our goal ( I let him watch TV while he eats...OOPS!) but I already love our days together so much more without the distraction of T.V.

He's growing up so fast and I am trying to soak up every moment we spend together because I'm so afraid of waking up one day and forgetting all the beautiful details of today, yesterday, and all the days we've shared together. The fear that my memory might fail me one day, keeps me grateful for every moment I spend laughing and laying in the sunshine with my little boy.
