ASPARAGUS WRAPS

Let's get real. Besides a very few select weirdos who just LOVE vegetables, most of us have a hard time enjoying our daily dose of veggies. I must admit, I am not a fan of them and rarely eat any! Don't tell my mom. So what is a girl to do? Wrap them in cheese and bacon of course! It's an obvious solution. I was seriously surprised at how delicious they turned out to be! So if you or someone in your house is having a hard time ingesting these green little beasts...try this recipe out!

ASPARAGUS WRAP

INGREDIENTS

Asparagus

Thickly cut bacon

Cheese of your choice (I chose Pepper Jack)

Butter

 Avocados

DIRECTIONS

  • Start by washing your asparagus and cutting off the bottoms.

  • Grab 3 or 4 asparagus stems and gather them together.
  • Wrap the cheese of your choice ( I chose Pepper Jack to give it a nice kick) around the bundle of asparagus.
  • Take 2 thickly cut pieces of bacon and wrap the asparagus and cheese.
  • Cover the bottom of a frying pan with a thin layer of butter.
  • Place the wraps in the pan and heat on medium until bacon is cooked.

  •  Avocados are the perfect compliment to these tasty wraps

ENJOY!!
